High Speed Patrol.

The Coast Guard protected the shipping at the primary seaports during Operation Desert Storm. These patrol boats were on duty twenty-four hours a day.

Big Ships, Little Boats.
This was the Coast Guard's fifth war where it was responsible for the safety of shipping in a war zone. Constant patrols meant safety for the merchant fleet supplying the war. (USCG photo)
