TriggerStreet.com
TriggerStreet.com gathers filmmakers and
film aficionados together in the virtual space to ensure
that independent and under-financed works will find a wider
audience. Novice and veteran screenwriters are invited to
submit screenplays to the Screenplay Forum for review by
their peers. Also, three times a year, TriggerStreet.com
will sponsor a Short Film Festival with 10 finalists culled
from the top-rated short films submitted to the site. Those
finalists will be judged by entertainment industry leaders
including Bono, Mike Myers, Tim Burton, Cameron Crowe, Edward
Norton, Danny DeVito and many others.
"We are using the Internet for which
it was created - a tool to communicate," said Dana
Brunetti, president and co-founder of TriggerStreet.com
and TriggerStreet Productions producer. "No longer
will you need to 'know' somebody to get a foot in Hollywood's
door. We are offering a chance for exposure and access for
filmmakers and screenwriters to showcase their talent from
anywhere, while at the same time giving everyone the ability
to view and judge the submitted work. It's a chance for
the talent and great ideas to be discovered by all."
Sounds interesting! But no website of this
stature can exist indefinitely without making money. We
will examine this unique e-commerce venture throughout the
course. You should familiarize yourself with the following
