Augusta Canal National Heritage Area

Boat Tour down the Augusta Canal

A Source of both vibrant power and gentle beauty for over a century, the picturesque Canal remains on of Augusta's many treasures.  It has been said that the more things change the more things stay the same.  Consider taking the boat trip past more than 200 years of history and watch for wonderful wildlife along the Augusta Canal.

We will host a reception with a cash bar at the Augusta Canal and Interpretative Center on Saturday Evening.  ASU's Jammin' Jags will provide musical entertainment.  Make your plans now to join us.

Costs are reasonable at only $28 per person.  We require at least 40 people pre-pay to attend this event by Feb. 15 to insure its occurrence.

Some people have expressed an interest in attending this event and the pub crawl.  This event will end early enough for those who wish to join others wha are already on the Pub Crawl excursion.
