Dr. Jacob Abadi

Dr Jacob Abadi teaches Middle Eastern history at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Dr Abadi obtained his B.A. degree from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and his M.A. and Ph.D degrees from New York University.

Dr Abadi is the author of the books Britain’s Withdrawal from the Middle East: The Economic and Strategic Imperatives, 1947-1971 and Israel’s Leadership: From Utopia to Crisis. Dr Abadi’s third book Israel’s Quest for Acceptance and Recognition in Asia: Garrison State Diplomacy is due to be published soon by Frank Cass in London. In addition, Dr Abadi has written numerous articles dealing with Middle Eastern affairs.
