Agenda items: Old Business
1. Editing Methodology
The FPC discussed the best
methodology for timely editing of current and future policy documents submitted
to the committee.
2. Sexual Harassment Policy recommendation – review
of document
The committee continued paragraph-level editing of the
proposed Sexual Harassment Policy document. Sabina Widner will look at the
current grievance process to see the normal response in that setting, prior to continuing
work on the process for handling normal complaints and exceptions within the
sexual harassment policy.
3. Other Agenda Items
Committee members should review both the promotion and
tenure recommendations and the email policy recommendations, already
distributed, then email ideas, comments, etc., to other FPC members prior to
the next meeting. Discussion about sabbaticals was deferred to the next
meeting.
