Exiting Learning Support Students

Students who completely exit from Learning Support this semester may register for Spring Semester 2009 courses on December 17-19, 2008. 
 
    You may register on-line provided you have no holds which prevent you from doing so (i.e. ASUO 1000, parking fines, etc.) 

    You must speak with an advisor in your major department (or the Academic Advisement Center, if undeclared) before the end of the semester.


Returning Learning Support Students

Registration for Spring Semester 2009 will be held January 5-6 in the Department of Learning Support, located in Allgood Hall E323.  Students should report to the department according to the following chart, at which time they will meet with an advisor and choose their classes.  No prior appointments are necessary.

General Instructions

All students who register on Monday, January 5 from 8:00 – 11:30, 12:30 - 5:30 and Tuesday, January 6 from 8:00 – 12:30 must do so according to the alphabetical schedule as listed above.  Fees are due by 4:30 pm. on Tuesday, January 6th , unless the fee statement indicates otherwise.  Students who have additional fees resulting from changes made during schedule adjustment must submit payment by Friday, January 9 at 4:00 pm.  No registrations will be done over the phone; closed classes and class enrollments will not be given out over the phone.


New Students

Each semester there are a number of special orientation/registration programs held especially for new students.  Call 706-737-1610 or send an email to orientation@aug.edu.

                       

Registration by Substitute

If you are unable to register at your scheduled time, you may have a substitute register for you.  If you register by substitute, you are responsible for each of the following:

 

1.         Make an “ID sheet” by photocopying your JagCard and a picture ID of your substitute on the same sheet of paper.  Both you and your substitute must sign the ID sheet.  The ID sheet will be collected from your substitute at registration, and filed in the Department of Learning Support  for legal reference.

 

2.         Give complete instructions to the person regarding your time of registration, preferred schedule, and what to do if the courses you want are unavailable.

 

In order to register by substitute, each of the above requirements must be met. If these requirements are not met, your substitute will not be allowed to register you. If you can register in person, do so.  Registering by substitute will be problematic if the classes you want are unavailable, and increases the risk of identity theft.  If you have any questions about the procedure to register by substitute, please phone 706-737-1685 prior to December 7.
