New Students
Each semester there are a number of special orientation/registration programs held especially for new students. Call 706-729-2347 for additional information and to sign up.
SPECIAL REGISTRATION FOR EXITING LEARNING SUPPORT STUDENTS
Students who have exited Learning Support and who wish to register for summer courses may do so on Monday, May 12th in the Department of Learning Support (Allgood Hall E323). Students must report to the Department at 9 a.m. Students are required to bring with them a completed registration form, which may be downloaded from:

If exiting students do not attend this special registration, then they must register with their major departments on Tuesday, May 13th. (Students should consult their major departments for details.)

General Instructions
Returning students are encouraged to register on Tuesday, May 13 from 8:00 - 3:30. Those returning students who do so must register according to the alphabetical schedule as listed above. Any student (returning, new or transfer) may register on Tuesday, May 13th from 3:30 - 5:30. Exiting Learning Support Students and University College Students with no learning support requirements may register with their major department. No registrations will be done over the phone; closed classes and class enrollments will not be given out over the phone. Fees are due when you register.
Registration by substitute
If you are unable to register at your scheduled time, you may have a substitute register for you. If you register by substitute, you are responsible for each of the following:
1. Make an “ID sheet” by photocopying your JagCard and a picture ID of your substitute on the same sheet of paper. Both you and your substitute must sign the ID sheet. The ID sheet will be collected from your substitute at registration, and filed in the Department of Learning Support for legal reference.
2. Give complete instructions to the person regarding your time of registration, preferred schedule, and what to do if the courses you want are unavailable.
In order to register by substitute, each of the above requirements must be met. If these requirements are not met, your substitute will not be allowed to register you. If you can register in person, do so. Registering by substitute will be problematic if the classes you want are unavailable, and increases the risk of identity theft.
