
University College provides access to students who do not meet the entrance requirements for full-admission to Augusta State University. To be eligible, students must be Georgia residents, and they must live within a 50-mile radius of the University.
In order to maximize academic success, all University College students are required to take and pass ASUO 1000, a study skills/orientation-to-college course.
Students are also required to meet with an academic advisor each semester.
In accordance with Board of Regents' policy, University College students are limited to courses numbered below the 3000-level. A maximum of 12 credit-hours may be taken per semester (or 13 credit-hours if one of the classes is worth 4 credit-hours.)

To check, login to ELROY, click Student Services, click Student Records, and then click View Holds. If a UCOLL hold appears, then you are a University College student.
