African-American Male Initiative
"The Winning Game Plan"
The African-American Male Initiative is designed to give African-American Males the opportunity to learn basic skills for academic and social success in college. The program will be held at ASU during the weekdays from June 4, 2012 - June 29, 2012 with occasional weekend events required. Tuition, fees, and books for the program will be provided. Students who enroll at ASU following completion of the program will receive college credit for ASU1000. Qualified applicants interested in the program must apply by 4:30 p.m. on April 30, 2012. Space is limited and applicants are encouraged to apply early. Priority will be given to applicants for the Fall 2012 semester at ASU.
Student must meet the following requirements:
- African-American Male
- Spring 2012 high school graduate
- Has not earned college credit
- Plans to attend college full-time for the Fall 2012 semester
