You can request the information by mailing a request, calling our office at (706) 737-11632 or 1-800-341-4373, completing the International information request online form, or email Carol Giardina, Associate Director of Admissions in charge of international admissions.

Submitting Records for Transfer Evaluation

The process for submitting records for a credential evaluation is carefully outlines on the agency application form. We require a course by course evaluation. The official copy must be mailed directly from the agency to the Office of Admissions at Augusta state University. Credential evaluation agencies are as follows:

NOTE: Although your credential evaluation may indicate that you have completed a significant number of credit hours, ASU will only accept those credits which satisfy its degree requirements.

SAT/ACT Requirement
You are required to take the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or American College test (ACT). Your scores must be mailed directly from the test center to ASU to be considered official. We recommend that you also fax your SAT or ACT scores to our office to avoid processing delays. Faxed transcripts are considered unofficial.

English Requirement
If English is not your native language, you must demonstrate a level of English proficiency appropriate to the level of instruction at ASU. You may do this by taking the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language). The minimum required for admission is 173 on the computer-based test or correlating scores on the web-based test. TOEFL will be waived for applicants applying within the United States if they have completed English composition at a regionally accredited post secondary institution with a "C" grade or better.
