Undergraduate Admissions Requirements

Augusta State University is organized into three colleges: The Katherine Reese Pamplin College of Arts and Sciences, The Hull College of Business, and The College of Education. We offer more than 50 programs of study leading to associate, bachelor, master, and specialist degrees, as well as a paralegal certificate and a cooperative doctorate.

Admission requirements vary depending on your background and what type of student you wish to be at ASU. Listed below are links for various undergraduate degree-seeking admissions categories, their definitions, and requirements for each. For specific information, please contact the Office of Admissions at (706)737-1632 or 1-800-341-4373. We will be glad to answer any questions you may have or set up a campus visit.

ALL applicants to Augusta State University must submit the following:

  • A properly completed and signed application for admission.
  • $30 non-refundable application fee (not required of students previously enrolled at ASU).
  • Complete immunization form (not required of students previously enrolled at ASU).
  • Official Documents* required for your enrollment status. [Listed on the corresponding page for your classification (below)].

* Official documents must be mailed from the institution(s) directly to the Office of Admissions.

All requirements listed below are taken directly from the 2007-2008 ASU Catalog. They are specific to, but not limited to students entering terms within the 07-08 academic year. The Office of Admissions reserves the right to alter any provision under the Board of Regents standards. The catalog states the following: "The statements set forth in this catalog are for informational purposes only and should not be construed as the basis of a contract between a student and this institution."
