As one of the fastest growing institutions in the University System of Georgia, Augusta State University is also one of the most diverse. Thirty-two percent of the over 6,600 students enrolled are minorities, of which 24% are African American. Our students are from over 47 states and 56 countries; some attending for the first time, and many adults returning after an absence.

With a student-faculty ratio of 20:1, ASU continues to place high priority on the personal attention and academic excellence that have become its trademark. We are committed to attracting eager, motivated students and to returning a highly-skilled workforce to our community.
