services and help complete your college education. The brief

phone numbers so you may seek further information. Note: Office hours may be shortened during Summer Term, so call ahead before visiting any office.
Career Center - Boykin-Wright - (706) 737-1604
Julie Goley, Director
The Career Center, located on the second floor of Boykin-Wright Hall,
provides job placement and career information assistance to currently
enrolled students and alumni of Augusta State University. They offer full and
part-time job listings, resume and cover letter critiquing services,
Cooperative Education opportunities, a career library, and much more. You
should develop a working relationship with the center well before you plan

Counseling Services promote
personal growth and development. Through individual/group counseling and
workshops, the center can help you choose an appropriate college major,
develop effective study and test-taking sk ills, and solve personal,

Disability & Testing Services - Quadrangle near Fanning Hall - (706) 737-1469

If you require any special assistance due to any physical disability
or learning disorder, it is important that you contact the Disability
Services Coordinator as soon as possible.
Students with learning disorders should be evaluated by The University
System of Georgia to help determine what level of assistance is necessary. They also administer several tests
including Compass, CLEP, RTP, and MAT.

The Financial Aid Office is your source of information on Federal and
State tuition assistance, the work-study program, student loans,
scholarships, grants, and HOPE. Since applying for and receiving aid can
be rather complicated, begin the process as soon as possible and be
cooperative and patient throughout.

A number of services offered by Student Activities include JagCard student ID's, student handbook and program guides. UMAC combines a variety of student advising and transition support
programs designed to assist students in achieving their educational goals
and accessing the full range of campus services and learning
opportunities. UMAC serves as the academic advising department for
undecided freshmen and sophomores and Joint Enrolled high school students.
