to satisfy the major, students under the semester catalog must take 42 credit hours from Areas A-E.
(Note: "Science Track" majors include Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics and Physics.)

Area F are listed in the catalog for each major program.
Important Reminders:
This overview of the core curriculum is general in nature.
Each program's specific requirements is
detailed in the university catalog.
It is important to remember that a course taken to satisfy one core
area may not also satisfy another area's requirements.
Courses used from the above list to satisfy
CPC deficiencies do NOT
count toward the core requirements
(see CPC Deficiencies). Additional
coursework must be selected to satisfy core requirements.
Associate's Degrees may have different requirements. Consult the
catalog and the department offering that degree.
TRANSFER STUDENTS: review the transfer credit evaluation for courses
which may have already satisfied some core requirements, particularly
in AREA B&C (Humanities).
