HUMN 2001 - World Humanities I (4)
Prerequisites: ENGL 1101 & 1102 or ENGL 1113 & 1114
An interdisciplinary study of
literature, art, music, and philosophy designed to develop the student’s
understanding of the evolution of culture in the Western world and create an
appreciation of significant cultural elements from Asia, 
HUMN 2002 - World Humanities II (4)
Prerequisites: ENGL 1101 & 1102 or ENGL 1113 & 1114, and HUM 2001
A continuation of HUMN 2001, this
course covers the historical period from the seventeenth century to the
present.
COMS 1010 - Communication/Speech (2)
Prerequisite: No Prerequisite
This course offers an introduction
to the elements of human communication, with emphasis upon interpersonal and
intrapersonal communication, public speaking, and mass communication.
COMS 1020 - Fundamentals of Human Communication (3)
Prerequisite: No prerequisite.
This course provides an
introduction to communication theory and the elements of public speaking. It
includes instruction in interpersonal and organizational communication as well
as mass communication and public speaking. Students also gain experience in
critical thinking and listening techniques.
HONR 1010 - Honors Introductory Seminar (3)
Prerequisite: Admission to ASU Honors Program.
A content based introduction to
problem solving and critical thinking from the perspective of the various
disciplines.
