Purchase a piano key and you'll help the Augusta State University acquire a new Steinway "D" Concert Grand!
You can pay tribute to the rich legacy of Augusta State University with your purchase of one or more of the 88 keys on a Steinway piano. Proceeds will go toward a new Steinway concert grand piano.
How It Works
Each of the 88 keys on a piano keyboard is assigned a dollar value ranging from $100 to a top price of $2,500 for Middle C. Donors can purchase one or more keys — even an entire octave. Or, groups can join together to make a purchase. Special thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Fleischer for the support of the Department of Music and for their purchase of Middle C.
Our goal is to raise over $25,000 through this fundraiser. Your purchase is tax deductible to the full extent of the law. Best of all, Turner's Keyboards will be matching each donor who purchases a key up to $1000. That means, if you purchase a $200 key, your gift is doubled.
