Be the First to Sport a New Commemorative ASU License Plate!

Augusta State University and the state of Georgia Department of Revenue Motor Vehicle Division introduce the first ASU commemorative license plate.

Georgia-licensed vehicle owners can register and pay the $25 manufacturing fee online through ASU. Only the first 500 license plates will be available through the college; the DMVS will offer the plates after the first 500. This $25 does not go toward your normal registration fee; it is a separate manufacturing fee that the DMVS requires to have the commemorative license plate produced.

To obtain a new ASU license plate, download, print and complete a reservation form and mail it along with payment to: Augusta Sate University c/o Alumni Relations, 2500 Walton Way , Augusta , GA 30904 orcall 706-737-1759. In 1-2 weeks, you will receive in the mail a receipt for the $25 manufacturing fee, a relinquishment form for transferring the license plate from the Augusta State University to you, and a request for plate manufacture form. Complete the relinquishment form and take all three documents to your local state of Georgia Department of Revenue Motor Vehicle Division at the time you register your vehicle.
