ASU receives $10,000 gift from PotashCorp
From the ASU Report
The Department of Communications and Professional Writing has received a $10,000 gift from PotashCorp.
“The Department of Communications and Professional Writing is thrilled with this generous gift from PotashCorp,” said Pam Hayward, chair of the department.
According to Hayward, the gift will be used to better equip the television and cinema studio located in University Hall. The improvement to the studio will have a direct, positive impact on the educational experience of the students majoring in communications.
PotashCorp is the world’s largest fertilizer company by capacity, producing the three primary crop nutrients.
“We look forward to working with PotashCorp in the future. There is a possibility our faculty and students may be able to collaborate with PotashCorp to produce training videos and remote meeting coverage,” said Hayward.
