As of the first week of the kick-off, 36 departments have 100% participation, which according to Bryant is three departments ahead of where the campus campaign was last year. The following departments have 100% participation: Academic Advising Center; Accounts Payable; Admissions; Department of Art; Bookstore; Budget Office; Business Operations; Career Center; Central Services/Mail Room; Department of Communications and Professional Writing; College of Education–Dean’s Office; Counseling Center; Development and Alumni Relations; Financial Aid; Human Resources; Information Technology Services; Jag Card Office; Maxwell Theatre; Military Outreach; Pamplin College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences–Dean’s Office; Physical Plant; Office of the President; Special Projects; Department of Professional and Community Education; Public Relations and Publications; Radio Station; Registrar; College of Science & Mathematics–Dean’s Office; Department of Sociology, Criminal Justice & Social Work; Student Activities; Student Services and Dean of Students; Study Abroad; Special Programs; Student Development/Minority Advising Program; Department of Teacher Education; and the Travel Office.
“We are almost there, just $44,534.52 from meeting our goal of $150,000. Jaguar Nation is about results, and we have always produced. We perform at the Championship level around here. This is our legacy,” said Bryant.
The A Day total as of August 21 is $105,465.48. The campus campaign culminates on Aug. 31.
