Thomas Campbell and Erin Campbell (BA – Communications, 2008) were recently engaged to be married. A date has not yet been set but they plan on an early summer ceremony.
Miguel Trujillo (BA – Political Science, 2009) was recently hired by the law firm, Fortson, Bentley and Griffin, P.A. Focused throughout Athens and Northeast Georgia, its clients include small and large businesses, individuals, financial institutions, hospitals and local governmental authorities. Trujillo, a native of Atlanta, will serve the firm through its litigation practice where he will handle a broad spectrum of legal areas, including general civil, criminal, probate, employment, property and family law.
Stephanie E. Miller (BM - Music Education, 2004) and Richard L. Rogers Jr. (BA – Communications, 2003) were united in marriage at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, September 22, 2012, at Fleming Baptist Church in Augusta. Mr. and Mrs. Rogers honeymooned in Montreal and Quebec City in Canada. The newlyweds now reside in Augusta, GA.
Jason Lane (MED – Leader, 2002) was recently hired as the new principal at Mill Creek high School in Gwinnett County, Georgia. Mill Creek is currently the largest high school in Georgia. Jason had previously been the principal at Duluth High School.
Sean Hayes (BBA – Accounting, 2010) is now working as a Project Accountant with CH2M-HILL Engineers Inc. in Augusta, GA.
Jason Norton (BA – Business Administration) has been promoted to Regional Director of Recruitment Services with Southern Wesleyan University. Previously he was an admissions officer with Strayer University in Augusta.
Erin Melinda Borgner (BSED - Health & Physical Education, 2005) and Jason Raleigh White were united in marriage at 6:00 pm on September 29, 2012 at the Enterprise Mill event center here in Augusta. After the ceremony they enjoyed a honeymoon in Napa Valley, California. The couple currently resides in Grovetown.
