Allicyn McLeod (BBA – ’02; MBA – ‘04) was recently awarded the prestigious Peak Award by the Atlanta-based accounting firm, Moore Colson CPAs. The Peak Award is presented quarterly to an individual who has made a significant contribution to the firm. McLeod has been with Moore Colson since 2008.
Catherine A. Cox (MED – ’07; EDS – ’08) is engaged to be married to Brandon Ludlow on July 17, 2010.
Susan C. Pettigrew (MED – ’91) is employed by Eli Lilly and Company as a Clinical Development Liaison. She lives in La Jolla, CA.
Stacey McGowen-Hudson (BA – Communications ’03) recently accepted the position of Communications Coordinator at the Medical College of Georgia. Previously, Hudson spent five years with Portico Publications and was the publisher of Metro Augusta Parent Magazine.
Paulette P. Harris (BA – Elementary Education ’71; MED – ’74; EDS – ’95) was awarded a 2010 Literacy Grant by The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. She is one of 12 recipients nationwide to receive such an award. The grant will help purchase bookcases to display GED Test Prep Books at the GED Lending Library.
Paula G. Sanders (BA – Sociology ’82) is employed by Flight Display Systems as Vice President for Program Management. She currently resides in Cumming, GA.
Nicklaus W. Hill (BBA – Accounting ’07) and his wife, Ashley D. Hill (MED – ’07; EDS – ’09), are expecting their first child in September.
Corey A. Washington (BSED – ’03; MED – ’06) was recently featured in The Metro Spirit for his book, Plain Talk Vol. 1, which explores topics such as racial slurs, stereotypes, and events that have divided the country.
Sharon Graci (BA – Communications ’88) received an Individual Artist Fellowship Award for acting from the South Carolina Arts Commission. Graci is the co-founder and artistic director of Pure Theatre in Charleston, SC. |
