  A Day campaign kicks into high gear
  A $10,000 challenge gift from First Citizens Bank to benefit the Hull College of Business sparked the beginning of the A Day for Augusta State University community campaign, led by Mr. John Bell, attorney with the Law Office of Bell and Brigham, on Sept. 15 during the President’s Club Luncheon.   Russell A. Blanchard Speaker Series
  He lived in a homeless shelter with only $25 to his name; now he is one of the nation’s most sought-after authors. This is the story of Adam Shepard, author of Scratch Beginnings: Me, $25, and the Search for the American Dream, who will share his rags-to-riches story during the first program of the Russell A. Blanchard Distinguished Lecture Series being held on Tuesday, Oct. 6, at 2:30 p.m. in the Jaguar Student Activities Center Ballroom.Continue>
  Department of Nursing sponsored Health Fair
 

Health screenings such as blood glucose check, blood pressure check, hearing, vision and etc will be offered by Nursing students and other Health Care agencies of the CSRA for free or for a nominal fee. .  Continue>

  ASU Gala Concert
 

The Department of Music will host its annual Gala Concert on Thursday, Oct. 8, at 7:30 p.m. in the Maxwell Theatre. Proceeds from tickets sales will go to the Music Faculty Scholarship Fund.  Continue>

  ASU presents Psychology Lecture Series
  Coping and change will be the focus of this year's Psychology Lecture Series that will be held on Fridays during the month of October. The series will kick off on Oct. 9 with Jonathan M. Campbell, associate professor in the Department of Educational Psychology and Instructional Technology at the University of Georgia. He will present Examining the Impact of Educational Interventions on Peers' Attitudes Towards Students with Autism. Continue>
