Mark W. Lavender (BA-Criminal Justice '98) married his wife, Jacquelyn in July 2008. He is employed by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation with the rank of Special Agent III. He has three children, Carson-7, Katie-5 and McKayla-4.
Maria M. Lameiras (BA- Communications '91) is employed by Emory University as a Senior Editor. She is married to Jason Lameiras, and they have three children, Jacob-11, Phillip-10 and Avalina-3.
Vernon A. Scoggins (BS-Computer Science '95) received his EMBA from Wake Forest University in December 2008. He is currently employed by Microsoft, where he serves as a Security and Operations Architect. He is married to Jumana Scoggins and they have four children, Victoria-16, Preston-15, Isabelle-8 and Amalie-5.
Kellie Marie Middleton (BSW-Social Work '07) is employed by the Main Child Development at Fort Gordon as an Education Technician. She is married to William Middleton, and they have a son, Parrish-24, who married his wife Kymberly in November of 2008.
Margarita Amaro (BA- Communications '95) owns Amaro Real Estate and serves as a Broker Manager dealing with real estate sales, leasing and management of residential and commercial real estate.
Cassandra M. Robinson (BBA-Accounting '98) has three children, Brittany-17, Brooke-13 and Brandy-11.
Irvon E. Clear (MBA-Management '96) is employed by the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Louisville, Kentucky as the Facility Manager. He is married to his wife, Carol, and they have one son, Brian (JD)-28.
Carrie P. Andress (BA-Communications, '07) serves as the Communications Specialist for the Augusta Convention & Visitors Bureau. She married her husband, Brad Andress, on October 18, 2008 at the River Island Clubhouse.
Susan Dowdy (BA-Sociology '91) is the Vice-President of Hoffman & Associates, LLC, an environmental consulting business in Atlanta, GA, which focuses on sustainability education and training for the real estate supply chain.
Terri Hall (BBA-Management '08) recently became employed at Medac, Inc. as a Provider Enrollment Specialist. She is married to her husband, T.G. and they have one son, Zachary-12.
Henry Edmondson III (BA-History '78) is a professor of political science and public administration at Georgia College and State University. He earned his master's degree from Georgia Southern University and his doctoral degree from the University of Georgia. He is married to his wife, Dorothy and they have four children. Recently, Governor Perdue has selected Dr. Edmondson to serve as one of his executive appointees.
