Important Deadline Information About FAFSA
As most of you already know it’s that time of year again! It’s time to apply for your student’s Financial Aid for the Summer 2010 and Fall 2010 terms. If you want your Financial Aid to arrive on time for these semesters, make sure to file your FAFSA form by the deadline. The application process is relatively easy, but the rest can get complicated. So don’t wait until the last minutes to apply for your student aid or scholarships for the upcoming semesters! Listed below are the deadlines to register by. Check out ASU’s Financial Aid website at http://www.aug.edu/financial_aid/ or the FAFSA website, www.fafsa.ed.gov for more information.
- March 1,2010- Summer and Fall FAFSA due
- October 1, 2011- Spring FAFSA due
- March 1, 2010- 2011 Scholarship Applications due

Tutoring, It's free! Come and Get It!
Parents! The best thing you can do for your Augusta State student is to encourage them to take advantage of our free tutoring services. Augusta State University offers many free tutoring opportunities in almost all Science, Math, Chemistry, Physics, English, and Foreign Language courses. The tutorials are headed by ASU students and advised by professors from each designated department. Exceptional student teachers are in the tutoring areas at specific times of the day. If your ASU student has questions pertaining to any of their classes, they should feel comfortable in using the FREE services provided for them at ASU. If you are interested in additional help for your student, the contact information is listed below.

This student body organization is the link between the concerns of our students and the administration of our University. Our SGA officers and Senators are important since their goal is to involve all students in school affairs and activities. Students get the opportunity to bring their concerns and opinions on different issues to the SGA. These suggestions are then acted on by the Student Government Association. more>
