Subject: APC Mar 29 Meeting Minutes
All items approved for faculty information. Along the way were raised the following points:
SOWK 3400 and 3401 already exist
Checking
with SOWK it turns out the labels on our agenda were misleading; item 12
actually adds SOWK 3402 and item 12 amends SOWK3401. I have adjusted the labels
to reflect their intent.
Someone might ask the question
how can Spanish have so many courses added without additional resources—you
know the age old question.
Most of the new courses are cross-listing graduate courses with undergraduate so these will not require new faculty.
So are all of the AIST courses
becoming CSCI courses?
Despite development of the AIST prefix for applied information technology courses, faculty in Math & CS feel some courses must have CSCI prefixes to be legitimate.
