Come see "A Retrospective" by Alan MacTaggart in the Mary S. Byrd Gallery of Art (formerly New Space Gallery), September 30 - October 28, 2010. We are pleased to exhibit one of our own in the Mary S. Byrd Gallery of Art. Alan MacTaggart came to Augusta State University in the fall of 2009 as chair of the Department of Art. His extensive travel in the U.S. and abroad is evident in this retrospective exhibition of paintings and drawings. Alan's attention to detail will lead the viewer through the artist creative process and reveal his unmistakable point of view of his world. At this Thursday's reception, we will also unveil a gallery dedication plaque in honor of Mary S. Byrd, who will be in attendance.
