Lady Jags Tennis Falls to KSU

AUGUSTA, Ga. --Augusta State women’s tennis team was downed by the Kennesaw State Lady Owls 6-3 Wednesday afternoon in Peach Belt Conference tennis action from the Newman Tennis Center.  With the defeat ASU drops to 4-5, and 1-4 in Peach Belt Conference play. 

#1 Ana Skafar won the Lady Jaguars only singles match defeating Laura Puch 6-2, 7-5.   Skafar continued her winning day with Norma Rovira defeating the double team of Puch and Ward 8-3. 

The Lady Jaguars return to action Saturday, March 6 at 10:00 a.m. as they travel to Charlotte, N.C. to face Catawba.

Loraine Rosmuller (KSU) defeated Patricia Zurita (ASU) 6-3, 6-3

Maria Rubert (KSU) defeated Norma Rovira (ASU) 7-5, 6-2

Kamilla Rodriguez (KSU) defeated Ashley Abrams (ASU) 6-1, 6-0
