Lady Jags End Season With Loss To UNC Pembroke
ASU Netters eliminated from Peach Belt Tournament with 5-1 defeat

Spartanburg, SC - UNC Pembroke won three singles matches in straight sets as the 10th-seeded Lady braves defeated 11th-seeded Augusta State 5-1 in the 2005 Peach Belt Conference Women's Tennis Championships.

The Lady Jags' lone win came in doubles, as Anna Wilander and Maria Zevallos teamed up to defeat Erin Saltzman and Shannon Gentry, 8-5.

UNC Pembroke (12-13) advanced to play #9 Kennesaw State for ninth place in the tournament later in the day. KSU won that match, 5-0. The loss eliminated the Lady Jaguars from the Peach Belt tournament and closes out their season at 5-12 overall.
