HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Augusta State picked up a 19-6 non-conference road win over Coker Monday afternoon. With the win, the Jaguars improved to 25-22 overall.

Freshman Bryson Smith went 4-for-5 with three RBI and a pair of triples. Justin Roberts and Kevin Owens each went 3-for-6 and combined for five RBI while Tony Baker was 3-for-5 with a pair of RBI. Sophomore rightfielder Shannon Willkerson increased his team-leading home run total, jacking a pair of homers – a three-run shot and a two-run blast – for a team-high five RBI.

Freshman Blake Pockrandt picked up the victory with 4.1 innings in relief of starter Ben Dukes. Pockrandt surrendered three hits and two runs and struck out three. Dukes worked the first 2.1 innings before giving way to Pockrandt.

ASU travels to Anderson tomorrow for a 6:00 p.m. non-conference matchup in Anderson, S.C.
