AUGUSTA, Ga. – The start time for Augusta State’s baseball season opener with Carson-Newman has been pushed back to a 2:00 p.m. start this afternoon.

ASU and the Eagles will then wrap up their non-conference series with a doubleheader on Sunday morning at 11:00 a.m. The Jags were originally scheduled to take on C-N in single games on Friday afternoon and Sunday.

ASU will be making its official debut under first-year head coach Chris Cooper, a former first baseman and allregion selection for the Jags who served from 2003 through last season as an assistant coach.
