2007-08 Cheerleading Squad Announced
After a good turnout and tryout process, head coach Jon Kruse and assistant coach Allison Brown have selected the 2007-08 Augusta State University Cheerleading Team. To view the names of those who made the squad, click HERE.

We wish to extend our best regards to those students not chosen this season and encourage them and look forward to seeing them again at next season's tryouts.

Kruse Joins ASU Athletics Staff
Jags hire Wisconsin native as new cheerleading coach

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Augusta State announced Wednesday the hiring of Jon Kruse as the Jaguars’ new head cheerleading coach.

A native of Green Bay, Wis., Kruse is a 10-year veteran of intercollegiate cheerleading. He most recently served as the head cheerleading coach at the University of Arizona, where he guided the Wildcat cheerleaders and mascots. At the time of his hiring, he was one of the youngest head coaches in the nation in Division I. (MORE)
