AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta State women’s cross country program returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 3 when the Jaguars compete in the Greater Louisville Classic in Louisville, Ky.

The women’s race, a 5K event, will begin at 10:15 a.m. The Jaguars are one of 34 programs entered in the women’s race. The field includes Georgia State, Northern Kentucky, Mississippi, Mississippi State, Mercer, Purdue, Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Louisville, Missouri and Central Michigan.

The Jags, ranked No. 4 in the NCAA Southeast Regional rankings, have placed first and third in their first three events of the season.
