AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta State Athletics announced Thursday the opportunity for Jaguar basketball fans to purchase reserved seating for the upcoming 2009-10 season.

On Friday, Oct. 23, Augusta State fans will have their first chance to reserve their favorite seat in Christenberry Fieldhouse. From 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., that evening, during the ASU men’s basketball’s practice, fans can designate a seat of their choice for $25. Fans who wish to reserve a seat for the 2009-10 season must also purchase a season ticket booklet.

For the second straight season, a season ticket package is available for $50 to Jaguar Club members and for $75 to non-members. A season ticket booklet contains 22 tickets. All regular general-admission seating during the 2009-10 season is $7 at the box office, while admission for all non-ASU students and senior citizens is again $5. ASU faculty and staff, who will continue to be admitted free with a valid ID card, must also purchase a reserved seat for $25 if they wish to designate a seat.

The Jaguar men’s squad has a 15-game home schedule while the Lady Jaguars are slated to play 14 home contests in Christenberry Fieldhouse. The Jags open their 2009-10 season with an exhibition contest against Aiken Tech on Wednesday, Nov. 4, before officially tipping off their regular-season slate at home on Sunday, Nov. 15 at 2:00 p.m., vs. West Georgia.

The ASU women’s squad will host The Lady Jaguar Tip-Off Classic on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 20-21, in Christenberry Fieldhouse. North Greenville, Glenville State and USC Aiken complete the field for the two-day, four-game tourney.
