| Augusta State among South Atlantic Region's top teams for third straight week |

AUGUSTA, Ga.-- Augusta State remained ranked among the South Atlantic Region's Top 10 teams,
in the latest South Atlantic Regional poll released Wednesday.
ASU, which knocked off USC Aiken 71-67 Monday night, is ranked ninth in the region for the second consecutive week. The Jaguars, who broke into the region poll at No. 10 two weeks ago, are one of six Peach Belt Conference members ranked among the top nine teams.
The Jags still have scheduled matchups remaining with No. 2 Clayton State, No. 3 Columbus State and No. 8 USC Upstate.
ASU travels to Clayton on Wednesday in a Peach Belt Conference doubleheader, then returns to Christenberry Fieldhouse to host Columbus for Homecoming on Sat., Feb. 11.
The Jags enter play Wednesday at 10-10 overall and 6-7 in the PBC standings, good for seventh place.
