AUGUSTA, Ga. --
For the fourth straight week, Augusta State is ranked No. 1 in the South Atlantic Regional poll.
The Jaguars, who recently completed a 22-5 regular season, are the South Division’s top seed in the Peach Belt Conference Tournament, which began Wednesday at Lander’s Finis Horne Arena in Greenwood, S.C.
ASU faces Georgia College & State in the PBC Tournament quarterfinals at 3:00 p.m. Friday afternoon in Finis Horne Arena on the campus of Lander University in Greenwood, S.C. The Bobcats were a 68-53 winner over UNC Pembroke in Wednesday’s first-round game.
