Augusta State remained 14th in the latest NABC/Division II Coaches Poll, released late Tuesday afternoon from the NABC national headquarters in Kansas City, Mo.
The Jaguars are ranked No. 14 in the nation for the second straight week after spending the first three weeks of the season among the top 10.
ASU (4-2) has been out of action since falling 81-74 at Georgia on Monday, Dec. 3 in Athens. The Jaguars return from their 10-day layoff when they host cross-town rival Paine College on Thursday, Dec. 13 in a doubleheader at Christenberry Fieldhouse. The women’s contest begins at 5:30 p.m., with the men’s matchup set to tip off around 7:30 p.m.
The top five remained unchanged, with Bentley (Mass.) leading the way at No. 1, followed by Grand Valley State (Mich.), South Dakota, Rollins (Fla.) and Winona State (Minn.). Cal State-San Bernardino, Drury (Mo.), St. Cloud State (Minn.), Seattle (Wash.) and Southwestern Oklahoma State round out the top 10.
