SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- The Augusta State men’s basketball team will be honored with a welcome home reception on Sunday, March 30 at 12 noon at Forest Hills Golf Club Grille Room.

The 10th-ranked Jaguars take on No. 4 Winona State (Minn.) for the national championship Saturday afternoon at the MassMutual Center. The nationally-televised contest on CBS is slated to begin at 2:30 p.m.

ASU is scheduled to depart Bradley International Airport in Hartford, Conn., at 7:15 a.m. Sunday morning, and after a stopover over in Atlanta, is scheduled to arrive at Augusta Regional Airport at 11:34 a.m.

The ASU traveling party will be greeted at Augusta Regional Airport prior to the reception. All Jaguar fans are welcomed to attend the reception at Forest Hills. A buffet of grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken fingers, cole slaw and potato salad, cookies and a drink will be available for $7.50 for the general public.
