GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Augusta State booked a four-under 284 Sunday in the third and final round of the UNCG Bridgestone Intercollegiate at Forest Oaks Country Club.

Led by junior Mitch Krywulycz’s career-best finish, a tie for fourth, the ninth-ranked Jaguars posted a 54-hole total of 10-under 854 (287-283-284) and finished in fourth place amongst the 15-team field.

Junior Henrik Norlander joined Krywulycz in the top 10, tying for sixth to give ASU seven top-10 individual finishes this season. In 11 rounds over four tournaments this fall, the Jags have registered seven rounds of par or better as a team.

Krywulycz finished with a career-low, 8-under 208 (69-69-70), one stroke ahead of Norlander at 7-under 209 (70-70-69). Junior Carter Newman booked a 1-under 71 and tied for 26th at even-par 216 (74-71-71). Sophomores Patrick Reed (7-over 223) and Taylor Floyd (8-over 224) tied for 45th and 53rd, respectively.

Georgia Tech turned in a 9-under 279 and picked up its first victory of the season with a seven-shot victory over Virginia. Michigan took third, one shot in front of the Jags and Tennessee rounded out the top five, seven strokes back of ASU.

Virginia’s Amory Davis came from three shots back, tallying a 5-under 67 to claim a one-shot victory over North Carolina’s Jack Fields and Michigan State’s Jack Newman. ASU’s Krywulycz and Georgia Tech’s John Tyler Griffin tied for fourth, three shots off the pace.
