SAN MARTIN, Calif. -- Augusta State posted a three-over 363 Tuesday in the second round of the CordeValle Collegiate at CordeValle Country Club.

Paced by sophomore Jake Amos’ five-under 67, the Jaguars improved from a tie for sixth place to alone in fifth.

Freshman Henrik Norlander carded an even-par 72 and is alone in third place individually, three shots off the lead at four-under 140.

Amos jumped into a tie for 17th at one-over 145, while freshman Olle Bengtsson is tied for 34th after a five-over 77. Janne Kaske and Mitch Krywulycz are tied for 41st at five-over 149, and freshman Carter Newman is alone in 58th, rebounding from his first-round 80 with a two-over 74.

Tournament host and fifth-ranked UCLA pulled out to a 10-shot lead over defending tournament champion Stanford and Southern Cal. Lamar is in fourth place, 11 shots back of the Bruins and one stroke ahead of ASU.

The tournament format features the top five scores counting out of six players. ASU will be paired with Coastal Carolina for Wednesday’s final round, with Newman and Krywulycz leading the Jags out on the course at 11:00 a.m. Eastern.
