AUGUSTA, Ga. -- The Augusta State men’s and women’s tennis teams swept a pair of dual matches from North Georgia on Thursday afternoon at Newman Tennis Center in Augusta, Ga. Both teams won all of their matches in their 9-0 win in straight sets.

Lindy Blount took the top spot on the men’s singles court, and the team of Frederico Mendes and Harry Hahn claimed the No. 1 seed in the men’s doubles contest. For the women, Nathalia Rodrigues was the top winner in the singles competition, and the team of Rodrigues and Norma Rovira took the No. 1 doubles spot.

The win brings the men’s record to 11-7 and the women’s to 10-7.

Both ASU teams will host Abraham Baldwin on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. They will travel to Aiken, S.C. on Sunday to take on USC Aiken at 12:00 p.m.
