AUGUSTA, Ga. -- The No. 30-ranked Augusta State Jaguars defeated the No. 24-ranked Columbus State Cougars 5-4, in a Peach Belt Conference matchup, March 7, at the Newman Tennis Center in Augusta, Ga. ASU improves to 7-3 overall and 3-2 in PBC play, while CSU drops to 4-5 overall and 1-2 in the league.

The 26th-ranked Lady Jags were downed by the 7th-ranked Lady Cougars, 8-1. With the loss ASU is 7-5 overall and 2-4 in conference play, while CSU moves to 5-4 overall and 3-1 in the league.

The Jags are back in action Saturday, March 10, hosting Pfeiffer at the Newman Tennis Center. The matches begin at 2:00 p.m.
