AUGUSTA, Ga. -- The No. 28 Augusta State Jaguars defeated the No. 20 Georgia College & State Bobcats, 6-3, in a Peach Belt Conference matchup on Monday, March 26, at the Newman Tennis Center in Augusta, Ga.

ASU's Lindy Blount, ranked 50th in the nation, downed 15th-ranked Erick Sigueria of GCSU in singles play 6-4, 6-2.

With the win, the Jags improve to 13-4 overall and 4-3 in the PBC, while the Bobcats drop to 12-4 on the year and 4-4 in the league.

The Lady Jags fell to the No. 9 Lady Bobcats, 6-3. GCSU moves to 15-3 overall and 7-3 in the PBC, while ASU falls to 12-7 on the year and 3-6 in the league.

The Jags will be back in action Wednesday, March 28, traveling to Hartsville, S.C. to face the Coker Cobras. The contests will begin at 2:00 p.m.
