GREENWOOD, S.C. -- The Augusta State tennis teams split a Peach Belt Conference matchup with Lander Wednesday afternoon at the Joe Carbi Courts.

The ASU women's team won five of six singles matches and two of three doubles to defeat Lander, 7-2. The Lady Jags improve to 3-1 overall and 1-1 in the PBC, while Lander drops to 3-2, 2-2.

On the men's side, the No. 8 ranked Bearcats remained unbeaten in the PBC with a 7-2 win over the Jaguars. Lander improves to 5-1 overall and 4-0 in the PBC, while Augusta State drops to 4-2, 0-2.

ASU’s scheduled match at Erskine today, Feb. 21, was postponed to a later date. The Jags will return to action Saturday, Feb. 23 in Gaffney, S.C. to take on Limestone. First match is set to start at 11:00 am
