AUGUSTA, Ga. -- The Augusta State tennis teams swept a Peach Belt Conference matchup with Georgia Southwestern Saturday afternoon, at the Newman Tennis Center.

The ASU women's team downed the Lady Hurricanes, 9-0, improving to 9-2 overall and 2-2 in the PBC. GSW drops to 2-9, 0-7.

On the men's side, the Jags improved to 8-3 overall and 1-3 in the PBC with a 9-0 win. GSW falls to 1-8, 0-6.

ASU’s scheduled match against Georgia College and State University on Friday March, 7 was postponed, due to weather, rescheduled for April 14, at 2 p.m. in Milledgeville.

The Jags will return to action Sunday, Mar. 9, when they host Mt Olive. First match is set to start at 10:00 a.m.
