AUGUSTA, Ga. -- The Augusta State tennis teams played host to Mt. Olive and Ferris State Sunday in doubleheader match up.

The ASU women's team swept both of their matches 9-0. Nathalia Rodrigues add another win to her season with a 6/0 6/0 win over Ferris State's Amy Ingle. Also adding wins for the Jags were Fernanda Chiaparini, Laura Ferreira, Bianca Machado, Camila Correa and Giovana Fensterseifer. The Lady Jags improve to 11-2 overall.

On the men's side, the Jags downed Ferris State 7-2, taking four of the five singles and two of the three doubles. ASU dropped to Mt. Olive 7-2 with Sergi Mullor notching the only win in singles while doubles pair Mullor and Arthur Figueiro booked the only doubles win. Augusta State improved to 9-4 overall.

The Jags will return to action Wed., Mar. 11 where they host Anderson and Concord. Matches set to start at 10:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
