AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Coming off a pair of very successful fall seasons, the Augusta State men’s and women’s tennis teams recently moved into the top 30 in the national rankings.

Under the watch of head coach Michael McGrath, the ASU men’s squad earned a No. 19 ITA national ranking while the Lady Jaguars moved up to No. 29 in the nation.

Lady Jaguar junior Nathalia Rodrigues was rated No. 39 in the NCAA’s Division II individual women’s rankings.

ASU opens its 2008 schedule on Friday, Feb. 1, when the Jags and Lady Jags host Wingate in a pair of non-conference matches at Newman Tennis Center.
