MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. -- The Augusta State tennis teams fell to Georgia College and State University Monday afternoon to close out regular season play. The Ladies fell 9-0 to the Bobcats, while the Men dropped 6-3.

In women's action, the Bobcats swept the Jags, with Giovanna Fensterseife battling against Sofia Intriago for an ASU win but was downed 7-5, 6-4. The women closed out the regular season at 16-6 overall and 5-5 in conference play.

On the men's side, ASU's Guilherme Ferraz and John Smith picked up the only two wins for the Jags in singles. Ferraz and Smith were also the only pair to pick up a win against the Bobcats in doubles. The men closed out the season at 14-7 overall and 6-4 in the PBC.

The Jags next head to the Peach Belt Conference tournament which is sent for April 18-20 hosted by Armstrong Atlantic State in Savannah, Ga.
