SAVANNAH, Ga. -- The Augusta State men’s and women’s tennis teams each fell in the first round of the Peach Belt Conference Tournament Friday, hosted at Armstrong Atlantic State University.

For the women, the #26 ranked Jaguars dropped 5-0 against the #9 Francis Marion Patriots in the quarterfinal round of the PBC tournament. ASU will now advance to the consolation round where they will take on USC Aiken. The match is set for Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

For the men, the #15 Lander Bearcats downed the #31 Jaguars 5-1. Arthur Figueiro defeated Henrik Willers for the only ASU win in the match. The men will now move on to the consolation round where they will also take on USC Aiken. The match is set for Saturday at 4:00 p.m.
