AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta State swept a pair of non-conference tennis matches from Newberry on Tuesday afternoon at the Newman Tennis Center.

The women’s team took down Newberry 8-1, while the Jaguar men’s team topped Newberry 9-0

With the win, the men’s tennis team improved to 11-5 overall, while the women’s team improved to 13-7 on the season.

Both ASU squads are back in action on Friday, April 16, when they travel to Jonesboro, Ga., to compete in the Peach Belt Conference Championships. (Women's Results) (Men's Results)
