Men's Tennis Tournament |

 AUGUSTA, Ga. --
The Armstrong Atlantic State Pirates fought off a
determined USC Upstate team to win the 2007 PBC Men's
Tennis Tournament championship on Sunday in Augusta 5-3.
The tournament title is the third straight for AASU, who
will earn the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA
Tournament.
AASU seemed to be in firm control as the match started
with three doubles matches, all won by 8-6 scores by the
Pirates.

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- The Armstrong Atlantic State women's tennis team did not drop a set as they swept past Columbus State 5-0 to win the 2007 Peach Belt Women's Tennis Tournament Championship on Sunday in Augusta. The Lady Pirates take home their fourth straight tournament crown and 13th overall and earn the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
