AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Augusta State head volleyball coach Sharon Bonaventure announced Thursday the second addition to her recruiting class.

Lagi (pronounced Lonnie) Roberts, a 5-8 outside hitter from Columbus, Ga., will join the Jaguar volleyball program for the Fall, 2009 semester.

A prep standout at Columbus High School, Roberts spent her freshman season at Paine (Ga.) College in Augusta. She will have three years of eligibility remaining. (MORE)

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Augusta State head volleyball coach Sharon Bonaventure announced Wednesday the addition of her first recruit.

Gabrielle “Mandy” Irizarry, a 5-10 outside hitter from Orlando, Fla., has signed with ASU and will join the Jaguar volleyball program for the Fall, 2009 semester. (MORE)

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Sharon Bonaventure has been named the head coach of the Augusta State Volleyball program, ASU Director of Athletics Clint Bryant announced Thursday.

Bonaventure, the eighth head coach in the Jaguar Volleyball program’s 24-year history, has enjoyed success at every stop in her coaching career. She has compiled a 232-135 career record in 12 years during three different stints as a head coach, and recorded five 20-win seasons. (MORE)
