PEMBROKE, N.C. - Augusta State
opened its Peach Belt Conference schedule on
the road Wednesday night, falling 3-1 to UNC
Pembroke at the Jones Center.
UNCP outlasted the Jaguars 26-24 in the
first set before ASU battled back with a
25-10 win in the second set. The Braves then
rallied to clinch the match with 25-13 and
25-22 victories in sets three and four,
respectively.

SAVANNAH, Ga. - Augusta State lost
a pair of non-conference matches Saturday on
the second day of the AASU Volleyball Pirate
Classic on the campus of Armstrong Atlantic
State University.
The Jaguars fell 3-2 (18-25, 25-23, 22-25,
25-23, 11-15) in a close match to Florida
Southern to start the day off Saturday.
Freshman setter Lisa Bartsch tallied 30
assists. Sophomore Mandy Irizarry and
freshman middle blocker Karolina Stenlund
each had 12 kills.

SAVANNAH, Ga. - Augusta State
split a pair of non-conference matches
Friday on the first day of the AASU Pirate
Volleyball Classic on the campus of
Armstrong Atlantic University.
The Jaguars fell to North Alabama 3-2
(16-25, 25-17, 32-30, 7-25, 15-11) in the
first game of the tournament. Junior outside
hitter Lagi Roberts had 15 kills and
freshman setter Lisa Bartsch tallied 35
assists and 10 digs.
